Our montessori programmes allow students to learn beyond a formal education.
The Montessori Methodology
The Montessori education covers all periods in education, from birth to 18 years old, providing an integrated curriculum.
The Montessori Methodology is characterized by providing a prepared environment: tidy, pleasing in appearance, simple and real, where each element exists for a reason in order to help in the development of the child. A Montessori classroom integrates children of mixed ages that are grouped in text period of 3 years. This promotes socialization, respect and solidarity among them naturally.
The prepared environment offers the child opportunities to commit to interesting and freely chosen work, which brings out long periods of concentration that should not be interrupted. Freedom develops within clear limits, and this allows children to live in harmony with others in the small society they belong to in the classroom.
Children work with concrete materials that were scientifically designed, which provide them the keys to explore our world and develop basic cognitive abilities. The materials are designed to allow the child to recognize the error by him/herself and become responsible for his/her own learning.
The adult is an observer and a guide: he/she helps and stimulates the child with all his/her effort. This allows children to act, want and think by themselves, and helps them to develop confidence and inner discipline.
Our Programmes
Our school encourages children to explore their world, and to understand and respect the life forms, systems and forces of which it consists.
Early Years
Preschool - ages 2.5 to 6 years
The Early Years programme comprises wholesome activities that are developmentally-appropriate for your child and runs daily throughout the national school term. New students are recommended to commence with Trial Classes for a month to experience the following curriculum: Practical Life, Sensorial Education, Beginning Reading (English & BM), Beginning Mathematics, Cultural Studies (Zoology, Botany, (Geography & History), Science Experiments, Music & Art, Playground Play and *Cosmic & Peace Education.
*Cosmic & Peace Education is supplemented by Islamic Studies for Muslim students at all levels. Extra-Curricular Activities (payable options) include Tae Kwon Do, Art Class, Field Trips and Swimming.
Elementary
Primary - ages 6 to 12 years
This Montessori Elementary programme is supplemented by both national and international curriculum or can be specifically designed to suit the student's and/or parents' preferences/needs. More specifically they will experience a holistic curriculum which will include as follows:- Advanced Practical Life, Language Arts (English & BM), *Cosmic & Peace education, Mathematics, Zoology, Botany, Geography & History, Social Studies, Science Experiments, Chemistry, ICT, Music & Art , Physical, Social & Health Education (PSHE).
*Cosmic & Peace Education is supplemented by Islamic Studies for Muslim students at all levels. Extra Curriculum Activities (payable options) include Tae Kwan Do, Art Class, Field Trips and Swimming.
Erdkinder
Middle School - ages 12 to 15 years
Students reach out to the community through much project engagement, voluntary services and learn about the importance of roles in the world they live in. There is much emphasis on consciously maintaining a good conscience and living in the world according to the context that is known thus emphatically encompassing responsibility and accountability.
Our young adolescents also undertake Practical Life Skills in Basic Accounting, Childcare, Ecology, Humanities, Economics, Craftsmanship (Artisan Skills), Food Preparation, Nutrition, Land & Livestock Management Studies, Conflict Resolution, Environmental Sciences as well as payable options of 'Microcosm to Macrocosm' Excursions, Homestay Programmes and International Student Exchanges.
There is much out of class experiences (particularly on our neighbouring community farm) as our students further their studies of the universe including core subjects like Language Arts (English & BM), *Cosmic & Peace Education, Mathematics, Combined/Core Sciences, History/Geography, Music & Art, PHSE and ICT,

IGCSE
15 years and above
When ready, senior students focus on formal examination subjects pursuant to the Cambridge Asessment International Education syllabus to obtain their International General Certificate in Secondary Education (IGCSE) in some of the following areas:-
English Language, English Literature, Malay, French, Maths, Additional Maths. Combined or Core Sciences , Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, History and Islamiyat.
The Junior Test under the Teaching of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) course is also available and highly recommended.
